Our Mission

Dr. Max Seiter and his team believe that care begins with a conversation. Treatment recommendations should be developed in partnership with the patient, taking their lifestyle and outcome goals into consideration. The Seiter Team leverages cutting-edge diagnostic tools and innovative treatment techniques to help patients reach their goals and get back to the activities they love. Trusted by locals and professional athletes alike, Dr. Seiter cares deeply about his patients, going above and beyond to provide personalized care and specialized treatment.

Max Seiter, MD

Dr. Seiter is double board certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. He offers comprehensive nonsurgical and surgical care, specializing in sports medicine and conditions of the knee, hip, and shoulder.

A native of Austin, Texas, Dr. Seiter received his bachelor of science from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was active in collegiate athletics and graduated with the highest honors.

After earning his doctorate of medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, he completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, in Miami, Florida. He continued his education with fellowship training in orthopaedic sports medicine at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado.

Dr. Seiter has served as a team physician since 2016, promoting the health of numerous high school, college, and professional teams, including sports such as football, basketball, baseball, hockey, snowboarding, and skiing. He’s currently a team physician for the United States Ski and Snowboard teams, and Summit High School football and hockey.

With a deep interest in staying on the cutting edge of advances in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Seiter has presented research results to professional organizations and published in peer-reviewed journals. His current research interests include meniscus injuries, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears, hip arthroscopy, shoulder arthroplasty, shoulder instability, rotator cuff pathology, and fracture management.

Dr. Seiter is the proud recipient of awards honoring his orthopaedic expertise. He also maintains active membership and has been elected a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).

Beyond his work in orthopaedics, Dr. Seiter is dedicated to local community service and stays involved in activities promoting excellence in his profession, such as the AAOS Orthopaedic Political Action Committee. He is also a core faculty mentor with the Plancher Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship, involved in training the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons. He and his wife cherish spending time with their two daughters.

Our Team

Camille King, ATC

Camille is originally from Tampa, Florida. She attended the University of West Florida where she was a member of the women’s soccer team. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. During her undergraduate education, Camille completed an internship at the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School in Colorado Springs while working with the football and wrestling teams. She then continued her education at University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, earning her Master’s of Arts in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Athletic Training. While there, she worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the women’s basketball and women’s rowing teams. Following her graduation, Camille completed an athletic training residency at Vail Summit Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery before ultimately joining the VSON team. Camille lives in Silverthorne and enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, live music, and cheering on her sports teams.

Georgia Wiener, PA-C

Georgia grew up in Edwards, CO. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Denver with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with minors in both Chemistry and Psychology. During her time at DU, she was a member of the alpine ski team when they won the 2009 and 2010 NCAA Division I National Championship. She then continued her education at Barry University in Miami, FL, earning her Master’s of Clinical Medical Science degree and Physician Assistant Certification. Following her graduation, Georgia worked for 3.5 years at Denver Health in Neurosurgery prior to joining the VSON team. Georgia has an outstanding passion for providing excellent concerige care to her patients. Georgia lives in Edwards; She enjoys mountain biking, paddle boarding, playing volleyball, skiing, and traveling.

Chris Dutlinger, PA-C

Chris is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Auburn University graduating with
a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance. Shortly after graduating from Auburn University,
Chris entered into the medical field working as a sales rep and orthopedics starting with
DePuy Johnson & Johnson in Manhattan New York City. He later took a job working for
Biomet orthopedics working in low country South Carolina. During his time in South
Carolina, he decided to go back to school to earn a physician assistant degree. He
studied biochemistry at Coastal Carolina University before attending the Medical
University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC where he graduated with a Masters in
Physician Assistant studies. Following his graduation, Chris worked and cardiac
surgery for 8 years (first in Athens, Georgia then working for Augusta University Medical
Center in Augusta, GA) before making the transition back to orthopedics and joining the
Vail Summit orthopedics team with Dr. Max Seiter. Chris prides himself in providing
outstanding patient care, and is living his dream working in orthopedics as a physician
assistant here in Summit and Eagle Counties, Colorado. Chris enjoys snow skiing,
flyfishing, kayaking, boating, biking, attending sporting events and live music.
